HeeHaw vs. Heat....note on positions
Sooo, in spite of our loss last night, I still think we're going to be the team to beat. Heat got beat byEternal Life last week in a low-scoring game (7-5). Between several errors and a lot of seeing-eye balls in the first two innings, I think the Heat played over their heads. At the same time, we struggled to get going in the first two innings and gave them several runs via errors. If you look at the stats, we don't have a weak spot in the lineup. We got into our groove by the 4th and 5th inning. If we play at that level the rest of the season we'll be well-positioned for the post-season tournament.
Let me know if I had you slated for a position you hate or feel particularly weak at. I'll probably shuffle you guys around all season so everybody gets to play where they want as much as possible (unless you stink at that position) and, importantly, where you don't want to as little as possible (Chris - don't worry, we'll all take a spin behind the plate).
